Drag City Streams Another New Joanna Newsom Song
"Good Intentions Paving Company"
Feb 02, 2010
Joanna Newsom
Have One on Me will be Joanna Newsom‘s third full-length (a triple album!), and it drops worldwide February 23rd via Drag City.
New details about the release have been trickling in over the last few weeks. And this morning, Drag City’s website started streaming another new cut from the LP, the Americana-hued, seven-minute “Good Intentions Paving Company.” There’s even a little bit of dusty soul and “olde tyme” jazz towards the end there.
Last week, when the indie imprint premiered “81,” the influx of web traffic shut down their site, so you best listen to this before it’s too late. (Via Pitchfork.)
