In 2015 San Francisco born Tim Presley of White Fence and Welsh singer/songwriter/guitarist Cate Le Bon teamed up as DRINKS and released their debut album together, Hermits On Holiday. Today they released their sophomore album, Hippo Lite, via Drag City. In honor of that they have shared a video for “Corner Shops.” Casey Raymond directed the video, which features a funny collage of images, including Presley and Le Bon. Watch it below. You can also stream the new album below.

Previously they shared its first single, “Real Outside,” and the audio for “Corner Shops.”

Previously DRINKS also shared statements from Presley and Le Bon about the making of the album, which was recorded in a small French town in an old mill where they had no Wi-Fi and only access to three DVDs (the first three Jurassic Park movies). There was also a brief statement from Bradford Cox of Deerhunter and Atlas Sound praising the album: “I have not listened to anything except the new Drinks album…. At first I was like, this is a mind f**k. then I became addicted. It is totally brilliant.”

Their essayontime reviews album is really amazing and both of them worked really hard on this album and I am really hoping that it becomes a big hit and they go really far with it.
