Echo & the Bunnymen Announce New Album, “Meteorites”

Echo & the Bunnymen
Echo & the Bunnymen have announced the release of their new album, Meteorites. The band’s twelve studio album, and their first since 2009, the forthcoming LP is scheduled for release in the UK on April 28 and the U.S. on June 3. Earlier last year frontman Ian McCulloch had made comments about the record’s existence when it was formerly known as The Garden of Meedin’.
“Meteorites, the new Bunnymen album…at long last we’ve made the worthy successor to Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine and Ocean Rain,” says McCulloch in a press release. ”Meteorites is what Echo & the Bunnymen mean and are meant to be—up there in heaven—untouchable, celestial, beautiful and real. It has changed my life.”
In conjunction with the album’s release, the band has revealed plans to embark on a tour of Europe and the UK beginning in May. Scroll down below to view the record’s full tracklist and the band’s upcoming calendar of concerts.
