Eels, the ongoing musical adventuring of singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mark Oliver Everett, has announced the release of the band’s tenth album Wonderful, Glorious. To be released on Feb. 4 on E Works, the new full-length effort was recorded at Everett’s new Los Feliz, CA studio, dubbed “The Compound.”

Together with guitarists The Chet and P-Boo, bass player Koool G Murder and drummer Knuckles, Everett said in a statement that working in the new space “was exciting. I realised I’d had a similar feeling when I first put the band together for the last two tours. The only rule I had was ‘let’s try it. If anyone in the room had an idea, I’d say ‘let’s try it.’”
