Her “lost generation take on 9/11”

EMA
EMA (aka Erika M. Anderson) has premiered a new song called “False Flag.” The song was shared today on the thirteenth anniversary of the September 11th attacks, which was no coincidence as its lyrics tackle the 9/11 attacks.
The song was released via the multimedia platform NewHive. EMA called is a “punk demo version” on Facebook and also said that it was “part of a larger digital art/net zine collection I am doing with them to be released in a coupla weeks. I was gonna wait on this, but it seems like today is the day.” She also calls the song her “lost generation take on 9/11.”
EMA’s excellent album The Future’s Void came out earlier this year on Matador. This song is not featured on there.
