Explosions in the Sky to Tour the U.S.
Tour Begins Sept. 2011

Explosions in the Sky
Explosions in the Sky seem to be doing pretty well these days. After recently releasing their new album, Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, to critical acclaim, the instrumental group played two sold-out shows at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles and the Fox Theater in Oakland, respectively. Hopefully, they’ll continue their selling-out streak—without ever “selling out,” if you know what we mean—this fall when they begin their official 2011 North American tour, which kicks off Sept. 1 in Tucson, Arizona. Wye Oak will be opening select shows for the band. Check out the full schedule of U.S. tour dates and venues listed below.
Before traversing the continetal U.S., Explosions in the Sky will be stopping by some of the biggest music fests in both the U.S. and Europe, including Barcelona’s Prima Vera (June 9-12), Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee (June 17), and Oya in Oslo, Norway (August 12-13).
