
Feist, Grimes to Perform at Polaris Music Prize Gala

This month the Polaris Music Prize will be awarded to the year’s best album by a Canadian musical artist. With the gala event set to take place on Sept. 24 at the Concert hall Studios at Bell Media’s Masonic Temple, it’s been announced that a selection of this year’s nominees will be on hand to perform at the ceremony including Feist, Grimes, Fucked Up, and Yamantaka // Sonic Titan. With last year’s winners Arcade Fire set to announce the winner, the entire night will be streamed online on Muchmusic.com and broadcast live exclusively on SiriusXM radio and CBC Radio 3. The winning artist will be awarded a $30,000 prize, with nine secondary prizes of $2,000 awarded to the remaining nominees. You can view the full list of potential winners below.
