Just four weeks after the Aug. 17 verdict convicting three members of the Russian punk collective Pussy Riot, Feminist Press has released an eBook entitled Pussy Riot! A Punk Prayer for Freedom, collecting previously unavailable material surrounding the group’s political protest and incarceration. Collecting letters from prison, closing courtroom statements made by defense attorneys, poems, lyrics to the band’s infamous prayer, as well as tributes from Yoko Ono, Johanna Fateman, Karen Finley, Justin Vivian Bond, and others, proceeds from the sale of the book will support the Pussy Riot legal defense team.
As previoiusly reported three members of the band were sentenced to two years in prison after protesting President Vladimir Putin with a performance at the altar of Moscow’s Christ the Saviour Cathedral earlier this year. The eBook can be purchased here for $2.99.

I hate punk music but love suing pussy riot especially on its kindle version. As collection or as hobby, they are truly creative with their costumes with colorful masks on their heads. However, there is a humor out there that the group has several arguments as of the moment of which have resulted to poor performance in one of their concerts in Russia.
