Filthy Friends is a new supergroup that features Sleater-Kinney’s Corin Tucker and R.E.M.‘s Peter Buck, along with Scott McCaughey, Kurt Bloch, and Bill Rieflin. They are releasing their debut album, Invitation, on August 25 via Kill Rock Stars. Now they have shared a video for “Despierta.” Megan Hattie Stahl directed the video, which features the band performing at a backyard party while fans race to get there (there’s only one seat available). Watch it below (via Pitchfork), followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
