First Aid Kit Produce Single With Third Man Records
“Universal Soldier”/ “It Hurts Me Too”

After producing singles for Conan O’Brien, Dungen, and Laura Marling, Jack White has turned his attention to Swedish duo First Aid Kit. The sister act visited White’s Third Man Records studio in October to record Buffy Sainte-Marie’s “Universal Soldier” for a Blue Series 7”. The b-side is a blues tune called “It Hurts Me Too,” an opus to pain once performed by folkie Karen Dalton. The single will be released January 18.
