Sweden’s sister-duo First Aid Kit will release their sophomore album, The Lion’s Roar on January 24 through Wichita Records. Yep, that’s still a long, long way away, but in the meantime you can check out a teaser trailer for the album below.

The new album, a follow up to 2010’s The Big Black & The Blue, showcases sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg, who sing songs about sadness and beauty. The Lion’s Roar was produced by Mike Mogis of Saddle Creek Records fame and features guest appearances by Conor Oberst and The Felice Brothers on the album’s final song, “King of the World.” Bright Eyes’ Nate Walcott also guests on the album, as does the sisters’ father, Benkt Söderberg.
