Florence Welch Announces Dance Side Project
With The Most Clever Name You’ll Hear All Day

First Lady of melodramatic song Florence Welch announced recently that she’s got a dance project in the works (as though you aren’t already getting down “Shake it Out” and “Dog Days Are Over”). The title of her Florence and the Machine side project? Side Project. “We actually have a dance outfit side project called Side Project,” she said to NME. “We made this weird house track that sounded quite churchy – to be confirmed! As yet it has never seen the light of day.”
No word yet on an official release, but we suspect it might have something to do with her recently announced album in the works with Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes. Either that or Ms. Welch is a black belt in time management.
