Frightened Rabbit’s much-anticipated third release is currently set for a March 9th release on FatCat Records. The Winter of Mixed Drinks was recorded in Scotland by Stuart Hamilton and mixed/produced by Peter Katis stateside, and is described in a recent press release as “exploration into new sonic and thematic terrain.” In addition to a new approach, the band has also acquired a fifth member in Gordon Skene (formerly of Make Model).

The band is currently finishing up a tour in Scotland and will return to the U.S. come next year for SXSW followed by a headline tour and festival appearances.
