Future Islands have shared a video for “A Song For Your Grandfathers,” another song from their acclaimed 2014 album Singles. The video was shared in honor of Father’s Day this Sunday and was shot at a family reunion in North Carolina. It was directed by Jay Buim and features the band performing for their families at a picnic and bonfire.

The band have also put together a special website where you can share the video via a Father’s Day e-card (“share the video with your father or any other special dad you know” it says.)

Check the video out below and don’t forget, as previously reported, Future Islands have special plans for their 1,000th show. It’ll take place July 26 in Carrboro, NC at Carrboro Town Commons (301 W Main Street, Carrboro, NC 27510) and feature the following special guests: Dan Deacon, Ed Schraders Music Beat, Valient Thorr, and Lonnie Walker.
