Gayngs Sues Tour Bus Company
The Saga Unfolds
Oct 20, 2010 Gayngs
First Gayngs’ tour bus was reported stolen. Then it came out that the company was holding it hostage due to an unpaid bill. Gayngs were—understandably—not amused when they were forced to cancel their Austin City Limits performance.
Now, the Minneapolis soft-rockers are suing the company for unlawfully terminating their contract, holding their belonging hostage, and monetary damages from missing their biggest gig of the tour. Says the band via press release, ““To be deprived of our biggest performance, at the culmination of a nation-wide tour was emotionally devastating. Additionally, the band suffered significant monetary damages.”
It looks like they may have a case. Minneapolis/St. Paul’s Gimmie Noise, Gayngs never signed the rental agreement due to an error in the paperwork that financially favored of the rental company.
