Godspeed You! Black Emperor are releasing a new album, “Luciferian Towers”, on September 22 via Constellation. Now they have shared the album’s first single and opening track, the over 7-minute long “Undoing a Luciferian Towers.” Listen below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
The album will be released on 180g vinyl and CD, both with 100% recycled paperboard gatefold jackets. It was recorded at Montreal’s Hotel2Tango studio during the winter of 2016/2017. Greg Norman engineered and co-produced the album, as he did the band’s last album, 2015’s Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress.
