Gruff Rhys Debuts Video for “Shark Ridden Waters”
New Solo Album To Be Released in February
Nov 01, 2010
Gruff Rhys
Gruff Rhys, frontman for both Super Furry Animals and Neon Neon, has debuted the video for his new single, “Shark Ridden Waters.” The song was released as a free download last month. We have the video below.
In the video, Rhys hangs out in a European seaside town, generally ignoring his annoyed girlfriend, while another man swims with a fake shark fin on his back. It doesn’t make much sense, but it’s nice to look at.
The song is to be taken from his third solo album, which is due out in February 2011. “Shark Ridden Waters” will be released in the U.K. on 12-inch vinyl on November 8th.
Rhys also has some stripped back European tour dates in the works:
November:
10 // COPENHAGEN, Teater Grob
13 // GALWAY, Town Hall Theatre
14 // BELFAST, The Empire
15 // DUBLIN, Sugar Club
22 // MANCHESTER, Whitworth Gallery
23 // GLASGOW, Vic Bar @ The Art School
26 // LONDON, Toynbee Studios
29 // PARIS, Point Ephemere - free
30 // AMSTERDAM, Bitterzoet
December:
