Swedish indie-pop singer Lykke Li has taken her time with the follow-up to 2008’s Youth Novels. Recently she had a new tune appear on the soundtrack to the second movie in the Twilight film series, New Moon. Today, she let loose her new single, “Get Some” / “Paris Blue” (via P4k/TwentyFourBit) The tracks street as a 7-inch vinyl on November 1 via Rough Trade, but you can download both for free at Lykke Li’s website (e-mail address required). Head over there now for the free mp3s. “Get Some” is a carnal and foreboding rocker whereas “Paris Blue” is soulful, melancholic chamber-pop.
