Heidecker & Wood Announce New Album, “Some Things Never Stay The Same”
Second Album for Kind-Of-Comedy Duo Out November 12
Aug 15, 2013
Heidecker & Wood
Heidecker & Wood, the duo made up of comedian/actor/writer Tim Heidecker of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! fame and his musical composer/collaborator Davin Wood, have announced a new album. It’s called Some Things Never Stay The Same, and, according to a press release, it’s a “self-indulgent sophomore album” that expands on the 70s/80s lite-rock pastiche from Heidecker & Wood’s 2011 debut, Starting From Nowhere:
“Rock has always been ridiculous, funny, silly, has had meaning when no meaning was intended, and no meaning when meaning was really intended. So why bother parsing or analyzing? Just sit back and enjoy Heidecker & Wood’s tasty licks, the classic AM radio melodies and the intentional/unintentional laughs.”
Some Things Never Stay The Same is out November 12 on Little Record Company. Watch the group perform “Cocaine” below.
