Hiss Golden Messenger announced a new album, Hallelujah Anyhow, last month, but when it was announced they didn’t share any music from the album. Now they have made up for that by sharing two new songs at the same time, “Domino (Time Will Tell)” and “When the Wall Comes Down.” Listen to both below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates. Hallelujah Anyhow is due out September 22 via Merge.

The band is led by M.C. Taylor and Hallelujah Anyhow was recorded with Brad Cook, Phil Cook, Chris Boerner, Josh Kaufman, Darren Jessee, Michael Lewis, and Scott Hirsch. Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, Tift Merritt, Skylar Gudasz, Tamisha Waden, Mac McCaughan (Superchunk), and John Paul White all provided vocal harmonies. The album is the follow-up to Heart Like a Levee, which was just released last October, also via Merge.
