Following a video teaser last week, Hot Chip have announced the release of their sixth studio album, Why Make Sense? Due out May 18, the new LP follows 2012’s In Our Heads. Ahead of the record’s release, the has shared a music video for the effort’s lead single and opening track, “Huarache Lights.”

In addition to the album, Hot Chip has revealed that for those that pre-order the album, they will include a special four-track EP titled Separate, made up of songs that were completed during the sessions for the new record. The band has also expanded their existing schedule of performances, including more stateside shows.
