I Break Horses
We’ve known a bit about Chiaroscuro, the sophomore album from I Break Horses for a while. Like the fact the first single “Denial” is a surprisingly upbeat and dancey. And that the second single “Faith” is an aggressive, electronic haze. Now the Swedish band has finally announced that the album will be available January 21 via Bella Union. The album features a haze of electronics. Think more M83/Daft Punk than I Break Horses’ shoegaze-leaning debut, Hearts.
“My only aim when starting to write this album was to ignore any possible second album expectations,” says frontwoman Maria Lindén via press release. “I let myself write both the happiest songs but also the saddest, and then I put them together.”
