South By Southwest has announced the initial lineup for 2011’s music portion of the conference/festival, which will go down in Austin, Texas, March 16 - 20, 2011. Some of the notable artists announced thus far include: Asobi Seksu, Erykah Badu, The Bees, Chikita Violenta, Cloud Nothings, El Guincho, Fujiya & Miyagi, Ed Harcourt, Klaxons, Light Pollution, Steve Mason (ex-Beta Band), Nite Jewel, Parts & Labor, A Place To Bury Strangers, Small Black, Sun Airway, Suuns, Telekinesis, Toro y Moi, John Vanderslice, Veronica Falls, The War on Drugs, and Wye Oak.

Many more artists will be announced as we inch closer to next March.
