Interpol Returns to Matador Records for Fourth Album
Also Announce Release Date and Enlistment of Secret Machines Member

Interpol
Things seem to be coming full circle for Interpol. After drummer Sam Fogarino’s suggestion late last year that their new record is stylistically similar to 2002’s epochal Turn on the Bright Lights, they’ve now announced a return to original label Matador after a brief one album stint on Capitol. Matador will release the self-titled record on September 14, the follow-up to the band’s 2007 commercial and critical disappointment Our Love to Admire. Interpol have also confirmed via their official website the addition of Secret Machines member Brandon Curtis. Curtis will augment their lineup on keyboards and backing vocals, joining the recently announced Carlos D replacement bassist David Pajo as an auxiliary member on the band’s upcoming tour.
