Iron & Wine Inks Deal with Warner Bros. and 4AD, Releases Fourth LP in January
Plans U.S. Fall Trek
Oct 11, 2010 Iron & Wine
In January of next year, indie-folk band Iron & Wine will issue its fourth album, Kiss Each Other Clean. It’s the group’s first proper full-length since 2007’s The Shepherd’s Dog. For the new LP, Sam Beam has signed with Warner Bros. in the U.S. and 4AD for international distribution. Beam’s imprint home has been Sub Pop since 2002’s The Creek Drank the Cradle. (This major label jump makes total sense since the genre-hopping Shepherd’s Dog debuted at No. 24 on Billboard‘s Top 200 Album chart.)
Also, Beam’s crew will tour the U.S. this fall, with a Euro journey to be announced in 2011. Check out the dates below.
