Former Belle and Sebastian member Isobel Campbell is back album Hawk (out August 24th on Vanguard), her third project with Ballad of the Broken Seas/Sunday at Devil Dirt collaborator Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees), who plays on eight of 13 tracks. Album highlights also include a pair of Townes Van Zandt songs, “Snake Song” and “No Place to Fall,” the later featuring troubadour Willy Mason.
A world tour is also in the works with more details to follow.
