Jack White has announced the release of his debut solo album Blunderbuss. Slated for release on April 24, the album was produced by White and recorded at his own Third Man Studio in Nashville.
In statement from White, the new work is “an album I coun’t have released until now. I’ve put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel llike they could only be presented under my name. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.”
Third Man Records’ Vault members can listen to album’s first “Love Interruption” below, with a digital version of the track made available for purchase tonight at midnight EST. A vinyl version of the “Love Interruption” single is also available for pre-order for release on Feb. 7, and will feature an exclusive non-LP B-side “Machine Gun Silhouette.” Click here to join the club and/or place your order.
