James Blake Halfway Complete With New Album, Collaborating With Justin Vernon and Kanye West

This past weekend James Blake made his first appearance at Bonnaroo, still out and about supporting last year’s sophomore LP Overgrown. Sitting down with Billboard for a backstage interview Blake revealed that the songs on his next album are already fifty percent complete. The UK songwriter also admitted that a few well-known names have been aiding in the recording process, including Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and Kanye West, as well as a third individual that he wouldn’t name just yet, but is “really excited about.” Click the video below to watch the chat.
