Japandroids have announced a new album. Near to the Wild Heart of Life is due out in 2017 via ANTI-. The album was announced via a short announcement video featuring black & white footage of the band performing live. No new music has been shared from the Vancouver band and no other info on the album (such as the tracklist, cover art, and exact release date) has been revealed. The album is the follow-up to 2012’s Celebration Rock and their first for ANTI- (previously they were on Polyvinyl). Watch the video below via Pitchfork.
