Jesca Hoop released a new album, STONECHILD, in July via Memphis Industries. It is Hoop’s fifth album. Now she has shared a video for the album’s “Shoulder Charge” and announced some new U.S. tour dates. The song features Lucius. Nick Middleton directed the video, which features Hoop and two others getting ready in the morning. Watch it below, followed by her upcoming tour dates.

Middleton had this to say about the video in a press release: “Jesca Hoop is a saint, someone who I believe considers the lives of others as sacrosanct and who sees very deeply into our private worlds. We spoke on the phone quite a few times before making this video. My intention for this video was that it would capture something from those phone calls - the delicate, tender world that the song exists in.

“The video is about meeting someone by chance, who makes you see the world differently, who changes your interior world. Fredrik Quiñones is a Swedish-Chilean dancer known internationally as Fredrik Xtravaganza. Leah Abraham is a model and advocate for a soft, nurturing lifestyle that focusses on the individual and others around them.”
