Lost Themes II Due Out April 15 via Sacred Bones
Feb 17, 2016
John Carpenter
Iconic horror film director John Carpenter is releasing Lost Themes II on April 15 via Sacred Bones, a sequel to his 2015-released Lost Themes album. Carpenter has long composed music for his films (which include such classics as Halloween, The Thing, Escape From New York, and They Live), but Lost Themes was his first album of original music not recorded for a particular movie and the sequel continues that. Now Carpenter has shared the first single from Lost Themes II, “Distant Dream,” and announced some more tour dates.
The dates are Carpenter’s first ever live shows and he will be joined by his son Cody Carpenter, godson Daniel Davies, and a full backing band. Not only will he be performing songs from both Lost Dreams albums, but also some of his classic film score themes. The song and dates are below.
