Knives Out is a new whodunit murder mystery written and directed by Rian Johnson (whose last film was the divisive Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but before that made the acclaimed Looper) and now the first trailer has been shared. The plot resolves around the mysterious death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) just after his 85th birthday party. Det. Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) comes to investigate the death and to question the various suspects, including members of Thrombey’s family. The stacked cast also features Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, Toni Collette, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas, LaKeith Stanfield, Don Johnson, Katherine Langford, Noah Segan, Edi Patterson, Riki Lindhome, Jaeden Martell, Frank Oz, and more. So, if you want to get geeky about it, it’s a film starring James Bond, Captain America, and General Zod.

Knives Out is due out November 27 via Lionsgate. We can only hope that the Radiohead song of the same name is used somehow in the movie. Watch the trailer below.
