Feb 21, 2014 Lana Del Rey
In an unexpected mash-up of music and perrsonalities, Lana Del Rey revealed that she is collaborating with The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach on her forthcoming sophomore album Ultraviolence. The announcement came courtesy of a tweeted picture of the two posted by Del Rey with the caption, “Me and Dan Auerbach are excited to present you Ultraviolence.” The while extent of Auerbach’s role in the making of the upcoming record is still up in the air, the The Black Keys’ frontman has served as a producer for a number of artists including Dr. John and most recently Ray LaMontagne. Del Rey announced her new LP back in December and is expected to see release later this year.
Update: Revolt TV reports that “a rep for Interscope Records has exclusively confirmed” that Auerbach is acting as the producer for the album.
