Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” Season 9 Premiere Date Announced, First Teaser Shared
Returns to HBO This Fall After a Six-Year Hiatus

It was previously announced that Larry David was bringing back Curb Your Enthusiasm for a ninth season on HBO, although it was unclear exactly when. Now here’s the pretty, pretty good news that the premiere date has been announced and the first teaser trailer for the season has been shared. It’s been six years since the last season, but the show finally returns to HBO, Sunday, October 1 at 10 PM. The first teaser simply features David dressed in ancient Greek attire on a revolving platform. Watch it below.
David previously had this to say about the new season: “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.’” And the teaser echoes that sentiment. It’s also been announced that previous cast members Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, and JB Smoove are all returning, among others. In the show, David, the co-creator of Seinfeld, plays a fictional version of himself as he interacts with both regular people and other celebrities playing exaggerated versions of themselves.
