
Laura Marling to Release Sophomore Album
I Speak Because I Can Out April 6th
British singer/songwriter Laura Marling has just announced sophomore album, I Speak Because I Can, out April 6th on Astralwerks. The follow-up to her Mercury Prize-nominated debut, Alas I Cannot Swim, the press release calls I Speak Because I Can, “Laura Marling’s coming of age album, if such a thing can be said about the brilliant songwriter whose compositions belie her age (for the record, she’ll be twenty this year).”
Laura Marling will also embark on a brief North American tour.
