LCD Soundsystem are releasing their long-awaited new album, American Dream, tomorrow (September 1) via Columbia/DFA. It includes two songs the band released in May, “Call the Police” and title track “American Dream.” They also performed them both on Saturday Night Live in May. It also includes “tonite,” which the band released a retro 1980s looking video and was one of our Songs of the Week. Now on the eve of the album’s release the band has shared a brand new song, but it’s not a track found on American Dream. Instead it’s a new near 14-minute long non-album track, “pulse (vol. 1).” It’s available as a free download from the band here. Or you can stream it below.
