Lily Allen at Work on New Music
Break Time is Over!
Jun 21, 2012 Lily Allen
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Lily Allen. The British brat-pop singer has been concentrating on a myriad of side projects: including scoring a Bridget Jones-inspired musical, working on a clothing line, and raising a family. There’s been rumors that she has quit music, or that she was planning a comeback as a country artist. (Not so far fetched as one may think.)
However, Allen has just confirmed that she is indeed working on new material. Via Twitter, the musician said the following, “You will be pleased to know that I am currently in the studio with Greg Kurstin. No big deal really, I’m just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing if anything sticks.”
No word yet on if an official release has been planned.
