Lily Allen to Score Bridget Jones Musical?
Sources Indicate Yes
Jun 03, 2010 Lily Allen
Is Lily Allen giving voice to Britain’s most famous singleton? As reported by The Guardian, the LDN songstress might be working away on tunes for an upcoming West End musical based on Helen Fielding’s infamous novel, Bridget Jones’ Diary. However, if rumors are true (no source had any definitive word from her representatives) Allen still has a way to go, Contact Music indicates she’s only composed one song (about Bridget’s weight struggle) out of a planned 12.
In the meanwhile, Allen has a handful of European tour dates:
7-2-2010 - Peace & Love Festival - Sweden
7-2-2010 - Wireless Festival - London
7-18-2010 - Benicassim Festival, Spain
