Listen: Acoustic Versions of Animal Collective’s “Wide Eyed” and “Pulleys”
Played on Seattle's KEXP
Sep 11, 2012 Animal Collective
With so much of their new album Centipede Hz indebted to the world of radio, it’s little surprise that Animal Collective would be making some special appearances on some of the more indie-friendly stations across the country. Sometime during the summer the Baltimore experimentalists stopped by Seattle’s KEXP where they performed acoustic renditions of two Centipede tracks “Wide Eyed” and “Pulleys,” as well as an electric version of “Honeycomb.” The station has since made the 18-minute set available to listen to online.
