Sweden’s Amason have shared a new remix of their song “Went to War.” The original song can be found on the band’s debut album, Sky City, which came out back in January on Fairfax Recordings/INGRID. The remix was done by Sotomayor, the electronic music duo consisting of Mexican siblings Raul and Paulina Sotomayor. Check it out below.

In other Amason news, the band have some October U.S. tour dates in the works with Of Monsters and Men and will be performing on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic show on October 19. Their tour dates are below.

Amason were one of the highlights of Under the Radar‘s official nighttime SXSW showcase back in March. Amason’s members also play in other notable Swedish bands and are Pontus Winnberg (Miike Snow), Gustav Ejstes (Dungen), Petter Winnberg (Little Majorette), Amanda Bergman (Hajen, Idiot Wind), and Nils Törnqvist (Little Majorette).
