Anna Burch is a new singer/songwriter from Detroit who is releasing her debut album, Quit the Curse, on February 2 via Polyvinyl. Previously “Asking 4 a Friend” was one of our Songs of the Week. Now she has shared the album’s title track. Listen to “Quit the Curse” below. Also below are the previously shared videos for “Tea-Soaked Letter” and “2 Cool 2 Care,” as well as the audio for “Asking 4 a Friend” again.
Fellow Michigan native Fred Thomas is also signed to Polyvinyl and after discovering Burch he sent some of her demos to the label with the note “This is not a drill. You need to hear this.” The label agreed and are releasing her debut album.
