On Dec. 9 Mexican Summer will release Mexican Summer: Five Years, a limited 250-page, 11x11’’ book including unseen art, photos, and written artist contributions to celebrate the label’s five year anniversary. Accompanying the book will be a 10’’ record of exclusive collaborations from some of the label’s rostered talent. Ahead of the impending release, Mexican Summer has shared “Called To Ring,” a collaborative track by Ariel Pink and Violens’ Jorge Elbrose. The song is actually Pink and Elbrose’s third joint effort, and was recorded over the same weekend as their 2013 summer single “Hang On To Life”/“No Real Friend.” Click below to listen.
