Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio is set to release his debut solo album on September 18 via Glassnote. He’ll be going simply under his last name and the album will be titled The Names after a Don DeLillo novel from 1982 of the same name. We’ve already heard “Brainwash yyrr Face” and seen the videos for “Sister of Pearl” (featuring Baio dancing around London, where he’s based these days) and “Endless Rhythm” (featuring Baio in downtown Los Angeles at night). Now he has shared the album’s title track. It’s a bit more of a subdued slow burner when compared to the other singles from the album. Check it out below, followed by Baio’s upcoming tour dates.
