Bat For Lashes
Making a recent stop on Zane Lowe’s BBC show promoting her upcoming new album The Haunted Man, Bat For Lashes’ took on a cover of Rihanna’s “We Found Love.” Stripping back Calvin Harris’ infectious beats for something a bit more dark and contemplative, Natasha Khan does the song justice in her own unique way. To listen you can click here and skip ahead to the 1:20 mark. Other live performances include Khan’s newest tracks “Laura” and “All Your Gold.”

When you fully understand this song by Rihanna, you will see that it is about people thinking that it is true love when in reality it is only an addiction or habit. You feel as if you are only around that person so much because of you having a bad similarity. Once one of you drop that bad habit, the connection goes away immediately. You see who they are and who you don’t want to continue being.
