Later this month Ben Folds Five will release The Sound of the Life of the Mind, the trio’s first album in over 13 years. Previously sharing an unmastered version of the included track “Do It Anyway,” today the band has premiered the first proper cut from the album, a piano-crashing number called “Erase Me.” Click here to listen the song, currently streaming over at Spin. The Sound of the Life of the Mind arrives Sept. 18 via ImaVeePee Records/Sony Music Entertainment.
