On Oct. 16 Ben Gibbard will release his debut solo album Former Lives. Today the the Death Cab for Cutie frontman has shared the first official song from the effort entitled “Teardrop Windows.” Far less romantically sunny then his last acoustically driven cut “Stay Young, Go Dancing,” the song is available to stream below.
