Having previously performed and recorded “Fist City” by Loretta Lynn Best Coast is no stranger to tackling another artists’ songs. This morning BBC Radio 6’s Radcliffe & Maconie show debuted Best Coast’s most recent attempt, a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s 1979 Tusk track “Storms.” During a number of interviews frontwoman Bethany Cosentino admitting to reading a book about Tusk while recording sessions for her upcoming sophomore album The Only Place. The “Storms” cover will evidently be available as a 7’’ vinyl, exclusively sold in independent record stores. Click here to listen (head to the 58:00 mark). The Only Place is due out May 15.
