OutKast’s Big Boi and Phantogram (the duo of Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter) have teamed up as Big Grams and recently announced their debut EP, BIG GRAMS, a seven-song collection that is due out this Friday via Epic. Previously the trio shared the songs “Fell in the Sun” and “Lights On.” Now they’ve shared another song from the EP, “Goldmine Junkie.” You can stream it below. Big Boi takes the initial lead on this one, but then Barthel comes in about a third of the way through and from there it’s more of a back and forth.
The BIG GRAMS EP also features special guests Run the Jewels and Skrillex. Big Boi discovered Phantogram after their song “Mouthful of Diamonds” started auto-playing when he was trying to close some pop-up ads. Phantogram then appeared on several songs on Big Boi’s 2012 album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.
