OutKast’s Big Boi and Phantogram (the duo of Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter) have teamed up as Big Grams and recently announced their debut EP, BIG GRAMS, a seven-song collection that is due out on September 25 via Epic. Previously the trio shared their first single, “Fell in the Sun.” Now they’ve shared another song from the EP, “Lights On.” You can stream it below. Barthel sings lead vocals for most of the song, but then Big Boi comes in to rap towards the end. The track wouldn’t sound all that out of place on a Gorillaz album.
The BIG GRAMS EP also features special guests Run the Jewels and Skrillex. Big Boi discovered Phantogram after their song “Mouthful of Diamonds” started auto-playing when he was trying to close some pop-up ads. Phantogram then appeared on several songs on Big Boi’s 2012 album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.

“Lights On” is pretty stellar, but after listening to the whole release I’m pretty sure my favorite track is “Fell In The Sun”. It’s just so catchy! http://bit.ly/BGFITSLV
