Personally I don’t get all the Poptimism and fuss about Carly Rae Jepsen. E•MO•TION, her album from earlier this year, was okay for a pop record, but to my ears not worthy of the praise it got in most circles. But who doesn’t like Wham!‘s “Last Christmas?” Well plenty of people probably don’t, but I’m not one of them. Plus it’s a slow news morning and so in the spirit of the impending holidays here’s Jepsen’s cover of the 1985 song written by George Michael. The single is out now via School Boy/Interscope.
